O'Reilly's Family Butchers is a Dublin institution of 60 years standing. In the lead into Christmas with the country experiencing travel and social restrictions, David O'Reilly decided to 'adopt digital' to take orders and manage collection and delivery during Christmas week.
Traditionally this a seriously busy time and this year was no different. David set up his webshop on our platform to take orders and ultimately manage the food prep and orderly unpressured collection and delivery.
O'Reilly's quickly became an online butcher with a twist. So in addition to running an online shop they had someone in the shop to help the some of their clientele that had yet to embrace mobile eCommerce. They used an iPad to fill in customers' details, order payment and collection or delivery slot.
They took hundreds of orders during December and managed the collection and delivery without the usual queue forming.
